Jakhi Dean was born and raised in Roxbury. He is currently in his third year of law school at New England School of Law after graduating from Umass Amherst in 2022 with a degree in Political Science. As a New Mission High School graduate, Jakhi is passionate about giving back to his community and being part of much needed change in the community. He has also worked with BCYF at the White Stadium Sports Camp. In his free time, he likes to write poetry, work out at the gym, and coach basketball with the Boston-based No Books No Ball program
